On June 26, 2018 a group of 36 UFV students, Biology Professors Sharon Gillies, Gregory Schmaltz, Allan Arndt, Stephen Thomas and Biology Department Assistant Pauleen Nuite travelled to Eyrarbakki (Iceland), London and Paris. Eugene Reimer Middle School in Abbotsford invited our team of scientists to their Family Night on May 17, 2018. David Mora Perea, UFV Science Student, demonstrates the Van de Graaff generator for the group of parents and students. Other demonstrations and hands-on activities were hosted by our Super Science Club facilitators.
On May 16, 2018 a group of Grade 12 students in the AP class from Chilliwack Secondary School visited our Chilliwack Campus and toured the Chemistry lab. Thanks to Lab Technician, Shawna Dyck for showing them around and providing us with some great photos!
