UFV Hosts the 2020 Math Challengers

UFV had the pleasure of hosting, once again, the Fraser Valley Regional Math Challengers Competition on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Over 190 grade 8 to 10 students (40+ teams) competed for a chance to advance to the Provincial Finals being held at the University of British Columbia on Saturday, April 4th.

We would like to congratulate all of the competitors! There is a lot of training and practice throughout the school year that prepares each student for regionals.

Thank you to all the coaches, parents, chaperones, judges and of course, all of the volunteers who helped make this event another huge success!

A special thank you to our UFV Organizers from the Math & Stats Department Margret Bollerup, Ian Affleck and Kseniya Garaschuk.
