As part of the Directed Studies program in Biology, our BIO and BIOC 409/499 students will each be presenting a 15-minute seminar outlining their research proposal. These presentations account for 5% of each student’s overall grade in the course and will be evaluated by their research supervisors. This year, we have ten students presenting.
If you’d like to stop by and show your support, the presentations will take place on Wednesday, November 5, from 11:00 AM–2:30 PM, and Friday, November 7, from 12:00–1:00 PM (see full schedule below). If you’re unable to attend in person, you would like to join via Zoom, please email Caroline.Majeau@ufv.ca for the link.
Thank you for your continued support of our Directed Studies students. These proposal seminars offer valuable feedback and help prepare them for future graduate studies and careers in Biology and Biochemistry.
