UFV Alumni Association in partnership with the South Asian Studies Institute hosted the inaugural Chandigarh Student Social for the newest batch of students who arrived from UFV India to the Abbotsford Campus to complete their degrees.
The October 17, 2018 event featured talks by two UFV India Alumni- Ms. Avneet Riar and Mr. Arjunveer Kamra, who have each excelled during their experience in Canada and gone on to have lucrative careers. The students were given an opportunity to ask questions, gain advice and knowledge about the experience of shifting campuses, and to mingle with UFV Faculty and Staff.
