The Office of Vice Provost/Associate Vice President Academic, Dr. Peter Geller and the Office of Research Engagement and Graduate Studies and Dr. Adrienne Chan hosted a farewell tea on March 27th, 2018 in honour of DJ Sandhu’s retirment. DJ founded and established the successful UFV India campus in Chandigarh and was the first Chair holder as the BC Regional Innovation Chair on Canada-India Business and Economic Development.
Past UFV Presidents Dr. Mark Evered and Dr. Skip Bassford were also in attendance and shared their experiences of working with DJ and his contributions to the University. Interim President and Vice-Chancellor Jackie Hogan and soon to be UFV’s President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Joanne MacLean were also in attendance.
