Enactus UFV Project Featured in Abby News

Enactus UFV is a student run social entrepreneurship team at UFV that works towards creating positive changes in society. The group has created two sustainable projects that benefit different demographics of people across the local Fraser Valley community.

One of these projects is the Big Brain Literacy Program (BBLP) which is a financial literacy program that teaches students the skills they need to survive financially on their own. Students from BBLP go through workshops and activities that teach them how to budget, save money, and live a life with less financial stress.

While the program focuses primarily on helping international students at UFV and local high school students, the program has recently expanded to assist community members in the Fraser Valley that need financial help during the Covid-19 crisis.

The Abby News recently featured the program, read the article.
