Thomas Edison once said, “Just because something doesn’t do what you planned it to do doesn’t mean it’s useless.” What is one technology that you thought you’d never warm up to but have? Have you used it in your classroom? If so, how? If not, why not?

I thought I’d never warm up to Twitter, but I now see the value in its simplicity. I also value the conciseness of the communication – at 120 characters we must articulate our thoughts very well. This will help in the classroom when writing assignments and in business when constructing emails. I’m still not an avid user of the technology, but I have gained a greater appreciation of it.
