2014 Honourary Degree Recipient Dr. George Siemens returns to UFV as part of the 2015 President’s Lecture Series.
Dr. Siemens known as one of the pioneers of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in 2008. Seen as a landmark in open teaching MOOCs are an extension of learning that build communities for professors, teaching assistants, and students through online forums.
