The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada are proud to announce the Call for Nominations for the 2015 3M National Student Fellowship.
The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives and at their college or university. These students embrace a vision of quality education that enhances their academic experience and beyond.
The Fellowship is open to full-time, post-secondary undergraduate college or university diploma or degree program students registered at a Canadian institution. Candidates must be enrolled in their first undergraduate program, and not be in their first or final year.
Each cohort member will:
- Receive an award of 5,000 to be spent at their discretion.
- Join the others at the June 2015 STLHE Conference at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia (June 16 to 19) where they will also participate in a 3M National Student Fellowship retreat.
- Receive a contribution toward the cost of conference travel and accommodations.
- Develop a cross-Canadian collaborative project to enhance teaching and learning at the post-secondary level.
Submission Deadline
Nominations should be submitted electronically on or before Monday, January 12, 2015, 5pm EST.
