Biography

Dieter Geesing is the soil science instructor at the UFV Agriculture Department and a Regional Agrologist with the British Columbia Ministry of Agriculture where he is part of the Climate Action Initiative team. Prior to his current positions, he worked in numerous environmental projects overseas as a consultant for the United Nations and in the Canadian compost and biogas industry. Dieter holds a MSc in Foresty, and a MSc and PhD in Plant and Soil Science.
