A few members of UFV’s senior administration and special guests from the community joined Dr. Lucy Lee, Dean of the Faculty of Science for a guided tour of our science facilities. They were greeted by students and professors. The group continued on to our research labs and saw students hard at work. Following the tour, our guests joined Dr. Lucy Lee at UFV’s annual Town and Gown. They enjoyed an evening of conversation and heard inspirational stories of this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award winners. The Faculty of Science was very proud to announce that Andrew Alexander, 2014 UFV BSc Graduate was named UFV’s Young Distinguished Alumni for 2018.
