This week-long experience mixes the best of science communications training with immersion and hands-on experience on the subarctic tundra. You will spend a week in close quarters (there may be bears outside!) with some of the world’s top science communicators. Space is limited. Early registration is encouraged. This is an immersive experience. The course fee includes:
- Five days of instruction with one-on-one faculty time
- Return flight from Winnipeg to Churchill
- Two nights single accommodation in Winnipeg
- Two nights shared accommodation at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre
- Two nights shared accommodation in Tundra Buggy Lodge
- Two days of private Tundra Buggy adventures
- All meals for the duration of the program
