Congratulations to Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair finalist Raul Pinol Pascual (pictured left)! He advanced to the national level representing the Fraser Valley at the Canada Wide Science Fair which was held in Ottawa, Ontario May 14-18, 2018. He joined 500 other top young scientists from across Canada to compete for nearly $1,000,000 in awards, prizes and scholarships.
We are extremely proud to announce that Raul received the Intact Climate Change Resilience Award and $2500 for his project entitled “Geothermal Power Plant Producing Water by Condensation”. The award was sponsored by the Intact Financial Corporation.
Raul is in grade 11 at St. John Brebeuf Regional Secondary School in Abbotsford.
