Field schools and study tours give students the opportunity to gain local and international experience and earn credits by participating. In May, a group of 24 students travelled to Tofino, BC with Professors Allan Arndt, Nathan Bialas, Allan Reid, and Biology Lab Technician Avril Alfred where they explored the wild, west coast of Vancouver Island. The field school is always in such great demand that a second class was opened for July with Professors Allan Arndt, Greg Schmaltz, Steve Thomas, Carlos Leon Guevara , and J Hughes.
