Flipping Your Class

Abstract:What would you do in your class if you had more class time? More practice, group work, activities, games . . . ? By capitalizing on the affordances of technology to deliver course content online via instructional videos asynchronously, the flipped classroom provides opportunities for the development of a student-centered classroom environment conducive to autonomous learning, engagement with material, and critical thinking. In this talk, we will share our experiences of teaching mathematics classes in the flipped class format.
