What do I need to know?
IT Services will be completing a required update to the AlwaysOn VPN service to enhance connectivity and resilience. This system upgrade may result in employees not being able to remotely connect to the UFV network using their UFV laptop, affecting access to on-premises services such as employee file shares.
If your device is unable to connect to the UFV network, restarting your laptop should resolve the issue.
When will this Occur?
Wednesday June 24th, 2026, from 10:00PM – 11:00PM
Who is impacted?
All employees attempting to connect to the UFV network using AlwaysOn VPN from a remote location may be affected.
If your device is unable to connect to the UFV network, restarting your laptop should resolve the issue.

Remote VPN connections to the UFV network.
