Lunch & Learn Series Kicks Off: Monthly Sessions from November to June

Our Lunch & Learn series has officially begun in the Faculty of Health Sciences, with plans for one engaging session each month from November through June. The November 25 session offered a rich exploration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), led by presenter Adriana Striker. She walked us through the core principles of UDL and shared practical, ready-to-use tips that educators can apply directly in their classrooms to support more inclusive and flexible learning. Her guidance sparked meaningful conversations about how small, intentional changes can make a big impact on student engagement and accessibility.

We’re already looking forward to continuing the momentum at our next session on December 4, which will be presented by Lindsay Spielman and will focus on Practical and Engaging Classroom Exit Strategies. Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited for future sessions that will dive into Incorporating the Science of Learning into Undergraduate Classes and Grading Academic Papers Holistically.
