B.C. Minister of Post-Secondary Education visits CHASI

CHASI had the privilege of sitting down with the Honourable Jessie Sunner , B.C.’s Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills during her recent visit to UFV.

Photo of Minister Sunner arriving at CHASI's door and shaking hands with CHASI director Dr. Martha Dow. Behind her, Dr. James Mandigo and Dr. Tracy Ryder Glass enter the room.

It was a pleasure to introduce CHASI’s work and the many projects our students and recent grads have been working on to the Minister. She kindly shared how our work intersects with her portfolio, her past work, and her personal experiences.

Thank you to Minister Sunner for making the time to learn about CHASI, and to UFV President James Mandigo, Acting Provost and VP Academic Tracy Ryder Glass, and SUS president Bilal Faisal Faheem for joining in our discussion.
