School of Business professors share their research findings at UFV Faculty Micro-Lecture Challenge

David Dobson

Once again the Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies office hosted the Faculty Micro-Lecture event. This is a chance for the UFV community to expand their academic pool of knowledge and sample new subject areas with an interdisciplinary afternoon showcasing faculty research from across the institution. Faculty presenters each take the stage for a maximum of two minutes and speak about the exciting findings and implications of their research. Last year Dr. Kirsten Robertson represented the School of Business at the event, this year three faculty members spoke.

This year’s School of Business presenters and topics were:

“Message Framing Effects on Attitudes and Intentions” – David Dobson, Associate Professor

“Using Extended Dependency Network Diagrams in Strategic Management” – Dr. Frank Ulbrich, Director of the School of Business

“Why Old Economics Theories Don’t Work and a Look at a New Paradigm for Reality Economics” – Dr. Ken Blawatt, Instructor
