PeerScholar is much more than just a self- and peer-assessment tool.
Have you wanted to help develop your students’ metacognitive skills? Are you designing activities and assessments that promote transferrable skills such as critical, creative, and analytic thinking? Have you thought about how students can improve their ability to accept “sh*t sandwiches” and work with constructive feedback to improve their emotional intelligence helping them become more coachable? Wouldn’t it be nice if students were able to give constructive feedback and become more independent learners? Lastly, I won’t even ask if you would like to reduce your time grading and giving feedback on assignments.
If you answer “yes” to any of the above then PeerScholar is for you and your students. PeerScholar is free to use and it will be integrated into Blackboard to make the adaption into your course more seamless.
