Wednesday, August 6 | 1–3 PM | S1111 Lounge
Join us for an afternoon of art, connection, and learning ahead of International Overdose Awareness Day. This drop-in event creates space to reflect, reduce stigma, and build hope together.
-Contribute to a community quilt with the Reducing Overdose Abbotsford Response (ROAR) team using fabric painting supplies.
-Take part in the “Stoking Hope / Scorching Stigma” collage activity facilitated by the Mission Overdose Community Action Team (MOCAT).
-Access harm reduction resources and receive free Take Home Naloxone training.
This event is open to all UFV students and community members. Whether you’re passionate about social change, want to learn more about overdose prevention, or simply wish to participate in a creative, supportive space – everyone is welcome.
