Provost’s Lunch and Learn — Redefining food: The boundaries of agricultural policy and technology

Emerging agricultural technologies such as vertical agriculture and cellular agriculture are redefining what it means to be a farmer and challenging the boundaries of the definition of food itself. In this talk, Dr. Lenore Newman will introduce technologies that are challenging long-standing conventions and then discuss their interaction with the policy landscape. The future of agriculture promises to be robust, complex, and paradigm-breaking.
