Human Resources has launched a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), providing a more streamlined job posting and recruiting processes for our hiring areas while offering new features to job applicants. Highlights of key features include:
- a secure, single-sign-on (SSO) for employees: login using your existing UFV credentials
- An online application interface for job seekers: create a secure profile, submit applications, set personalized “career alerts”, respond to interview invitations and more…
- Online recruitment process tracking, approvals, and workflow: committees and areas can manage the process from “posting to placing” (i.e., the job offer)
- A secure viewing dashboard: for selection committees to view relevant job postings/ applicants/ processes and for candidates to view their job applications and documents
- An online shortlisting and interview booking tool: allows each committee to liaise directly with candidates within the system
- Secure online data collection from new hires: allows UFV to obtain employment-related info (e.g., SIN, DOB)
- Online help: for searching careers, applying for a position, creating your candidate profile, and technical support (from Njoyn, the solution provider)
- And more!
Human Resources is working with our selection committees to bridge the transition from the old to new system over the next few months and, will be hosting training sessions for members of selection advisory committees and hiring areas.
