Everyone is invited to a screening of Crossing the Bridge, a student-made documentary on UFV Geography students’ experiences in San Francisco. https://www.facebook.com/events/866893400039132/
The evening will also include an update on the proposed Abbotsford mobile homelessness shelter. The film tells the story of a Geography student trip to San Francisco. It was made by UFV student filmmaker Megan Angela Russell and includes themes related to liveability, planning for disasters, and responding to social justice issues. Come at 6 pm to experience food trucks on campus (outside near the cafeteria) then stay to hear about the exciting local business owner’s project with Abbotsford Community Services followed by the film and then a panel. Stay for all of the event or just what you have time to participate in. Please look for the Facebook invite with trailers and more detail on UFV Urbanist or UFV GUS Facebook page.
