The Globe and Mail has released its Canadian University Report (CUR) for 2014.
It has changed the format, no longer containing a specially commissioned student satisfaction survey. A profile of UFV is included this year’s CUR on page 46 of the print version, and online in its ‘Choosing a university?’ profiles section: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/education/canadian-university-report/help-choosing-a-university/article14980141/.
The CUR 2014 print version cites UFV as performing better than average on the National Survey of Student Engagement. However, the online version also links to last year’s CUR 2013 student satisfaction survey, in which UFV was not included.
UFV continues to measure its success by the success of our students and the communities they serve. The National Survey of Student Engagement, the BC Graduate Outcomes Survey and other similar studies are good indicators of this success.
