The SASI hosted a forum based on its curated exhibit ‘We Are Hockey’ at the Sikh Heritage Museum and National Historic Site Gur Sikh Temple on May 28, 2019. The forum featured a keynote address from Dr. Courtney Szto, whose PhD dissertation was the motivation and research piece behind the exhibit. The forum also featured co-panelists, Bhupinder Singh Hundal, Senior Producer with the CBC, Laura Schneider, Executive Director of the Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford and Shan Dhaliwal, a SASI research assistant.
The forum was well attended by UFV admin, faculty and staff along with community members.
