Finally, today is the day! Scoffing down breakfast I ran across town because today is the day! I waited anxiously because todays the day! Today is the day I visit Stonehenge! Unfortunately, Stonehenge is a bit of a drive from Kensington. Thus I tried my best to distract myself on the drive by reading here, socialising there, and enjoying the English countryside.

Honestly, I should have expected this. For some reason, in my mind’s eye, that it would be empty. Nevertheless, I found some spots to stand on my own and enjoy the site, take some photos, and watch the others try to recreate the henge.

On the way back we explored the mediaeval style city of Salisbury. I knew England was known for its historical buildings, but I wasn’t expecting to find buildings (the Poultry Cross) from the 1,300s. I really wished we had more time to check out the town, but there was a missing person scare on our bus.
