Close to 150 competitors are at UFV today participating in the Annual Math Competition.
Dr Ian Affleck and his team of volunteers from the Mathematics and Statistics department as well as several Science students are busy hosting this event that brings select Junior and Senior students who have qualified from a preliminary round held at their schools in early April.
This year, we have 22 schools from the Region participating in the competition and winning students in either the Junior of Senior categories will receive UFV prizes sponsored by the Faculty of Science and UFV’s Board of Governors.
