A huge thank you to BC Hydro’s Community Giving Program for helping support our Science Rocks! Summer camp program with the $1,500 Grassroots grant. Thanks to your grant, we can sustain our camps where students enjoy learning and exploring science. Your support truly means everything to us, and we deeply appreciate it.
UFV has been offering these science based camps for 16 years in the Fraser Valley. We have six, 1-week camps being held at both of our Abbotsford and Chilliwack Campuses. Our Science Rocks! Team Leads Semir Hasic and Cole Zaniol, and their team have a great program lined up for this summer! This is a great opportunity to send your kids to university for a week and work in a real science lab and experiment with fun activities that explore the sciences. This year’s camps covers fossils, flora, fauna, fire, flood, frost, fractals, figures and inFinity. Registration includes a camp t-shirt, lunch every day and a full week of fun!
