Science Rocks! summer camps are in full swing at UFV

We kicked off the summer with our Cryptography, Codes and Crime Scenes week by welcoming 23 of Fraser Valley’s most eager scientists!  Each camper brought their creativity to solve mysteries by problem solving and uncovering hidden secrets! Above all, our campers realized that math is totally cool! We have no doubt they learned something new and made a new friend or two.

Thank you to our amazing team leader, Ronald Balagtas, and his outstanding crew Nav Bhatti, Jessica Lo and Annette Vantil who are making sure the kids are having an A+ experience. Thanks to our volunteers, Dario Jereb and Pearl Virk, for their support throughout the week. We look forward to seeing you all back again next week for  Lasers, Light Sabers, and Lightening! Although our camps are full for the summer, you are still able to register for the waitlist.

A special thank you to our sponsor for this week, The Canadian Mathematical Society.
