UFV celebrates great online learning!

On Tuesday, June 8 the Provost and Vice President Academic, James Mandigo, hosted an event celebrating great online learning here at UFV. This past year has been a study in overcoming challenges including faculty pivoting to online learning. UFV faculty rolled up their sleeves and got to work creating exemplary online activities, resources, and components to support the success of our UFV students. This event recognized and celebrated their adaptability, ingenuity, and dedication to students’ learning.

Dr. Vanessa Radzimski from Math & Stats; Dr. Stefania Pizzirani and Dr. Mariano Mapili, both from the School of Land Use and Environmental Change joined 6 other faculty members from across campus and shared their resources through a series of exciting five-minute, ignite-style presentations.

The goal was to provide an opportunity for faculty to briefly share aspects of their online courses and celebrate what worked well.
