Applications are now open for Canadian Student Participation in the NASA International Internship (NASA I²) Project – DEADLINE DEC 6/19

This new initiative will allow exceptional undergraduate & graduate students from Canada to spend 10 weeks at NASA in the summer of 2020.

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA), Fulbright Canada and Mitacs have partnered under the Agency’s Canadian Student Participation in the NASA International Internship (NASA I²) Project. This program will provide opportunities for high performing Canadian students from a variety of STEM disciplines to be part of a 10 week research internship one of NASA’s research facilities.

THE PROGRAM

The program intends to award grants to the students that are selected for the program to support the NASA I². The total grant amounts awarded to each grantee are:

  • Up to $8,000 for a 10-week internship;

Candidates that are pursuing an undergraduate degree should have successfully completed a minimum of four (4) semesters of full-time study (or full-time equivalent) in their program at the time of application.
