The University of the Fraser Valley athletic department features 140 varsity student-athletes participating on teams across five sports. The Cascades’ men’s and women’s basketball teams belong to the Canada West Conference of U SPORTS. We are beyond thrilled that both UFV men’s and women’s basketball teams have clinched a playoff spot. Playoffs begin February 8th.
Our women’s basketball team will take on the Trinity Western Spartans for the final two games of the regular season on February 1st at the Envision Athletic Centre. They will then head to the Langley Events Centre on February 2nd for the final game of the regular season.
We are very proud of our women’s basketball team and delighted that 5 of the 15 women on the team are from the Faculty of Science! So a special shout out to our science students!
