The Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre (BMSC) is a shared campus of the Universities of Victoria, British Columbia, Alberta, Calgary, and Simon Fraser University featuring a 3000 square metre laboratory that can support research in almost any field. BMSC has courses available to students from Biology, Geography, Environmental Studies, Archaeology/Anthropology, First Nations Studies, and Stats. There is also a non-majors biology course available to students from all disciplines designed to fulfill the Science requirement for Arts students.
BMSC will be presenting to interested UFV faculty and students on February 23rd. They will give a brief overview of the centre and the courses they offer. A discussion and question period will follow the presentation.
