A group of nine volunteers spent all of February 10 in Hope, sharing math/logic puzzles with the 15 K-6 classes at Coquihalla Elementary. They also spent two hours on campus on Family Day (math is your family, too?), taking part in a workshop on the puzzles and effective methods of presenting them to a class. The volunteers included Karin Loots, two of her Math 105 students from the fall, and five of our upper-level math students. The trip, workshop, and activities were organized by Susan Milner.
