Science Fairs are held each year in hundreds of elementary and secondary schools around the province. Projects can come in the form of a report, a demonstration or a model. All must follow specific criteria and all must display original scientific research.
Students in the Fraser Valley are given the opportunity to display their outstanding projects to the public through the Regional Science Fair held each year at UFV.

Monday, February 27, 2014: Registration Closes
Deadline for Students/schools to register projects for the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair.

Friday, March 7, 2014: Registered Participants Posted
Projects accepted for the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair will be posted.
Tuesday, April 1, 2014:
Sponsor teachers, parents, and students set up projects between 4 and 7 pm in the Envision Athletic Centre (Building E-South Gym).
Wednesday, April 2, 2014: Judging
Grades 7 – 12 starting at 1:00pm
Grades K – 6 starting at 3:30pm
Public Viewing and School Tours – The public is welcome to view the Science Fair
– Wednesday, April 2 from 8:00 – 12:00, and 6:00-8:00 pm
– Thursday, April 3 from 8:00 – 3:00pm
Thursday, April 3, 2014: Take-down – 4:00 – 6:00pm
Friday, April 4, 2014 : Awards Ceremony at 4pm
Everyone is welcome to attend the awards ceremony in the Envisions Athletic Centre (South Gym) on UFV’s Abbotsford campus. A member of the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair Committee will contact your school by Friday morning, April 4 if someone from your school will be receiving a special award.
