Developed by the Canadian Internet Registration Authority, Canadian Shield is a free DNS security service that blocks access to malicious websites, phishing scams, and other online threats—before they can do harm. It’s privacy-focused and built specifically for Canadians.

How to Get Started
You can use Canadian Shield in three ways:
- Browser Extension – ideal for laptops and desktops and works with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
- Mobile App – for iOS and Android
- Home Network Setup – Configure your home router to protect all devices on your Wi-Fi
