In partnership with SFU Beedie School of Business, IABC/BC welcomes communications students and recent graduates to attend Comms planning — From A to Z, a two-hour workshop led by IABC/BC Past President Erin Driscoll, ABC. The event will take place on November 7, 5:30-7:30pm, at SFU Harbour Centre Campus.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of communications planning and how to develop a plan from scratch. As this is a hands-on workshop, you’ll leave ready to rock. Please bring your laptop.

About the presenter:
Erin Driscoll, ABC is a seasoned business communicator. While she’s been an independent consultant for most of her career, she’s also held a number of in-house corporate communications roles and managed a public relations firm. Always linking activities to the big picture, Erin works closely with her clients to ensure initiatives are aligned with business objectives, and activities are meaningful and results-oriented.
Volunteering and mentoring fill a lot of Erin’s days, as she believes that saying yes to a variety of experiences teaches us things we wouldn’t necessarily set out to learn. It’s not a surprise that she’s been actively involved with our chapter for more than two decades. She chaired the national level awards program and annual leadership conference, and currently evaluates awards submissions and serves as a strategic advisor and mentor to fellow communicators.
Erin is an Accredited Business Communicator (ABC), certified in the Prosci Change Management methodology, and holds an Honours Degree, Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons.), from the University of Windsor.
