The UFV School of Business is hiring 2 students into the roles of Project Assistants, Employer Engagement Program.
As Project Assistant you assist the Director and staff at the School of Business primarily in organizing tours to organizations in the Fraser Valley.
Project Assistants are responsible for maintaining existing and building new relationships with organizations that potentially employ BBA graduates. Project Assistants make contact with organizations through the School of Business’, Career Centre’s, and/or Alumni Office’s existing relationships, inviting senior and junior representatives to present their organizations to BBA students allowing the student to comprehend an organization holistically as well as its entry-level positions. Project Assistants place phone calls; write invitations; coordinate schedules; and advertise (including the creation of promotional materials, such as emails, posters, blog posts), host, and follow-up on all events.
