Biology students get hands-on experience in Tofino

UFV Biology students got hands-on learning during the intensive seven-day course, hosted at the Tofino botanical gardens field station on Vancouver Island. The week included exploration and analysis of the many unique ecological systems within and around the Clayoquot Sound biosphere reserve.

A number of UFV instructors participated in the expedition, lending their expertise about the specific habitats of the area.
