UFV Students – take part in UFV governance and receive Co-Curricular Record (CCR) credit

Senate is the academic governing body at UFV that is responsible for managing academic policies and advising the Board on policies of mutual interest.

Senate business is conducted through its standing committees, and there are  currently opportunities for students and graduate students to participate as representatives on the following standing committees for a two-year term ending July 31, 2017:

  • Academic Planning and Priorities Committee — 1 graduate student
  • Senate Budget Committee — 1 student
  • Senate Committee for Student Appeals — 1 student
  • Senate Graduate Studies Committee — 2 graduate students
  • Senate Research Committee — 2 graduate students

If you are interested in serving on one of the standing committees above, please fill out the Expression of Interest form online(http://www.ufv.ca/secretariat/standing-committee-vacancies/) and email the completed form to linda.dahl@ufv.ca. The deadline for submissions is 4 pm on Fri Nov 6, 2015.
