Thanks to the incredible market research done by students in David Dobson’s BUS 320 class for the Abbotsford Agrifair, the fair will be hosting a UFV Student Appreciation Evening!
At 5 pm on Fri, July 31, anyone with a valid UFV ID card will get into the fair grounds for FREE (parking not included).
This is the result of the hard work done by students in David Dobson’s Business Research Methods course (BUS 320), who completed a semester-long market research project aimed at increasing attendance at the Abbotsford Agrifair. This project provided valuable, hands-on learning experience and real client-based work, helping connect students with a strong local community organization. The Abbotsford Agrifair wanted to show their gratitude by inviting everyone to celebrate the success of the course at the fair!
The students also participated in the School of Business Student Research Day, coming in third place overall, and the university-wide student research day, where they took part in a two-minute microlecture about the success with the Agrifair.
Also, by liking the Abbotsford Agrifair on Facebook, you’ll hear about their huge contest announcement!
