Collaborative Online International Learning info session — Oct 5

Join Victoria Surtees, UFV’s COIL facilitator, to learn more about Collaborative Online International Learning.

COIL is a form of experiential and applied learning. A COIL project involves two or more faculty members from different universities that collaboratively develop a project to be completed by students in both classes. Students work together virtually to explore driving questions related to the course material and gain valuable teamwork skills and interdisciplinary and intercultural perspectives on the issues facing our world. From semester-long international projects with community to stakeholders, to a four-week collaboration on a shared case study, there are lots of ways to engage.

Come explore project examples and learn about our faculty matching program, training sessions, and incentives.
