Prerequisite: Recommended Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 6 or higher with good English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Course work is done online in English. Students need a computer/laptop with reliable internet, microphone, and camera.
Course Overview:
Get a solid introduction to custodial and housekeeping through theory and hands-on video instruction. Learn cleaning procedures for various surfaces, chemical safety, waste handling, WHMIS, and essential safety practices. The program follows green cleaning standards from the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) and LEED® to promote environmentally responsible methods.
Ideal for newcomers to the custodial industry or workers seeking skill upgrades.
