A portion of single-lane traffic on Gillis Avenue on the UFV Abbotsford campus is closed this week due to construction on the new student housing. The section of Gillis Avenue south of Lá:lem te Baker and the UFV Bookstore remains closed until Sunday, June 23, to allow for underground utility connections. Road closure signs will be placed along Gillis Avenue to advise drivers. The parking lot south of Lá:lem te Baker is not impacted, nor is pedestrian traffic.
