A four-week election campaign is now underway for positions on the Senate and UFV Board of Governors.
Faculty candidates for the board include Amber Gaszo (Faculty of Social Sciences), Emilio Landolfi (Faculty of Health Sciences), Michael Gaetz (Faculty of Health Sciences), and Tannaz Zargarian (Faculty of Education, Community, and Human Development).
Faculty candidates for Senate for the Faculty of Business and Computing include Carl Janzen and Gerry Palmer.
Seven UFV students are vying for four open Senator positions with a term running from Aug 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. The candidates are Jassu Parmar, Jay Sandhu, Khushi Shah, Lauren Palmer, Mohammad Afeef Alam, Pavandeep Judge, and Shervin Azar.

The election period continues until Mar 10 and voting takes place March 11-14. Eligible voters will be notified via email.
