Dear Members of the UFV Community
A new round of Strategic Initiatives Funding (SIF) will be made available to support UFV’s Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) plan. Academic areas (e.g., Dept, Schools, Faculties) are invited to submit proposals to support curricular revisions that enhance admission, retention, and/or graduation rates for students. Individual-led projects are not eligible for funding from this call for proposals. All proposals must be submitted on behalf of an academic area(s) with a primary contact identified. Cross-departmental and/or Faculty/College submissions are encouraged.
While there is no maximum budget amount set for each proposal, the amount of funds available for successful proposals may need to be adjusted based on total number of proposals submitted, scope of the project, and total amount of funds available through the SIF.
The submission form is now available here and must be completed by June 30, 2023. Successful proposals will be announced by the end of July, 2023 with funds being made available through the Provost Office by the beginning of September.
