Join us in a workshop with Arturo Luís Soria! A shot of espresso for the actor-writer, this workshop is geared to those looking to shake up their creative processes and learn new approaches. This course is intended to push writer-actors out of their comfort zones. No need to come with an idea of what you wish to create, just bring an open mind, playful attitude and your movement pants.
Arturo made his Broadway debut in The Inheritance and recently premiered his solo show, a New York Times Critic’s Pick, at Rattlestick Theatre in New York City. Ni Mi Madre explores the intersection between queerness and Latinidad, gender, sexuality, family, citizenship, transculturation, identity; and lays bare the secrets, memories, fears, and celebrations of being an immigrant.
