Join the South Asian Studies Institute’s reading group related to understanding caste, caste oppression and caste in the diaspora. SASI is committed to understanding, dismantling and challenging ongoing systems of caste oppressions in our local communities, organizations, places, and personal lives.
Every two months, SASI will share a reading and host a zoom conversation to discuss the readings and share stories as a pathway to meaningful action and change. To join the reading group (or ask any questions) please email sasi@ufv.ca by Oct 15, 2021.
