On May 25, Dr. Bonnie Henry, the Government of British Columbia, and the Provincial Health Office released BC’s Restart Plan, a phased approach to returning the province safely to normal life over the course of the next three months. The BC Restart plan is based on scientific data including declining COVID-19 case rates, declining hospitalization rates, and vaccination rates.
Over the past several months, UFV has also been planning a phased return to campus for our community. Like the government plan, the UFV plan has four scheduled phases that allow for flexibility, support, and a gradual adjustment to the change from remote work to on-campus life.
